Elton John and David Furnish—7 years

Former advertising executive David Furnish, who 15 years younger than Elton John, first met a dinner party hosted by the music legend in October 1993. The following night, Furnish returned to John’s home for a one-on-one dinner of Chinese takeout. The two aren’t shy to admit that they were immediately attracted to each other. They fell in love quickly and were given credit for being fixtures at events and parties around the globe.

In May 2005, John proposed to Furnish at an at-home dinner party with their family and friends. They embarked on a civil partnership in the latter part of the year. They decided to convert their relationship into a marriage in 2014. In 2009, the couple’s journey to parenthood started after visiting an orphanage in Ukraine. Soon after, they welcomed their two kids, Zachary Jackson, and Elijah Joseph, via surrogacy.
