Stephen Colbert | Tesla Model S | Approximately $80,000

After finishing studies at Northwestern in 1986, Stephen Colbert found a job in the offices of the Second City comedy troupe after moving to Chicago. Two years later, he joined the traveling group following his improvisation classes. He then met Paul Dinello and Amy Sedaris, and they created and starred in the television series Strangers with Candy and Exit 57.  Eventually, Colbert became a huge hit in the 2000s, appearing in programs like The Daily Show.

And in 2005, he began to host his own television talk show, The Colbert Report, which instantly became Comedy Central’s highest-rated program, raking in millions of viewers per episode in its first week. Soon after its conclusion, Colbert succeeded David Letterman as host of the Late Show on the CBS network. Throughout his career, the host has achieved a tremendous degree of success in his chosen profession, earning millions of dollars as a result. On the other hand, Colbert is perhaps Tesla’s most famous unpaid spokesperson, tellingly had the company’s CEO, Elon Musk, appear as one of the first guests of his new talk show a few years back. He bought a Tesla Model S worth around $80,000.
