Barbara Eden

Barbara Eden has been perhaps an icon of American television. She is well-known for her iconic role as Jeannie in the sitcom I Dream of Jeannie. Her role as the sexy genie and her iconic costume made her into a bombshell during the show’s run in the 1960s, which has persisted to this day. In addition, she has also appeared in countless films and TV series over the years. Among such series include Harper Valley PTA, The Stranger Within, and A Howling in the Woods. She has also devoted her time and investment in theater, with her most noted performances being in Woman of the Year, The Sound of Music, and South Pacific.

Today, Eden remains active in the industry, with her latest roles in My Adventures With Santa, Shimmer and Shine, and Long Island Medium. She has also written a memoir titled Jeannie Out of the Bottle, which chronicles her personal life, multiples marriages, and a dark chapter in her life following the passing of her only son, Matthew, back in 2001.
