Troy Aikman
Dallas Cowboys’ retired quarterback Troy Aikman is still not out of the game when it comes to football, as he has successfully transitioned into becoming a newscaster on Fox. Though many assumed that he retired because of all the injuries that he had sustained while playing, it was another health scare that bothered him. Before that, Aikman was one that helped the Dallas Cowboys become a competitive team which led them to win three Super Bowls in four years.
Though his performance was affected during the later years, he still managed to play like a pro. What scared the player the most was being diagnosed with stage two melanoma. He was able to get it treated before it could spread, but he kept mum about it for close to two decades. Today, he has become more open about his condition and even put some of his investments in Novartis to help raise awareness about skin cancer.
