Keith Richards rose to fame for being part of the rock and roll band The Rolling Stones. He was friends with Mick Jagger ever since they were little, and that friendship fueled them to make the band. Though he did not start off as a songwriter, when one of their bandmates left, he and Jagger were the ones composing the music. This was why they were referred to as “The Glimmer Twins”.
