Elisabeth Shue
Elisabeth Shue was one of the hottest stars back in the 1980s. She first worked in small commercials before snagging the role of Ali Mills in the film The Karate Kid. She later appeared in Adventures in Babysitting, which has since become a cult classic. Shue worked with Tom Cruise in Cocktail before she took on the role of Jennifer Parker in Back to the Future Part II and Part III. Everyone thought that she will be typecast as the girl-next-door but, to her credit, she impressed the audience and critics alike with her performance in Leaving Las Vegas.
Shue has taken on more versatile roles during her rising career in Hollywood. However, in 2000, she was getting less work. She did appear in Curb Your Enthusiasm, House at the End of the Street, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation just to name a few. Today, Shue is making a comeback first with Battle of the Sexes and The Boys.
